I have recently returned to the city where I was born, Johannesburg after a few years. the city has changed a lot, some good some not. but one change that has affected more than I could have imagined was the closing of the "Topstar" drive-in. It was a drive-in built on top of a gold mine dump, with new techniques they are going through these dumps to reclaim gold that was previously missed. all that remains is the entry gate where you bought tickets. Here was where I had my first movie experience that i remember..... E.T
